Tortoise Orbs

Laurent Manonni writes in his book The Great Art of Light and Shadow, Archaeology of the Cinema about various inventions and scams 'magicians' of about the 1500- late 1800s used to fool the uneducated masses. One way they fooled people into t'seeing spirits' come to life in a graveyard was by attaching a candle to the back of a tortoise and releasing it into a cemetary at night.

Virginia Lake & Windsor Castle

My lovely Grandmother has travelled all the way from California to stay with my mum, following the loss of my amazing Grandfather who passed away recently. Baba was a hero to us all. God rest his soul.

Yumchaa

A few weeks ago Chloe and I had a day off so off we went and had a wonderful day out in London. We went to the park, ate at an amazing vegan restaurant on Lexington Street (Soho), then after she took me to a lovely little cafe called Yumchaa that lets you pick your own loose leaf tea, which then goes into your very own ice tea! After that we relaxed in Soho square with some cider and bumped into old friends. Finally to end the day, we saw the film Norwegian Wood at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square. Lovely!
